Blanco is a venue-only rental. There are no preferred vendor requirements, no mandatory catering packages, and no hidden minimums. Bring your own caterer, florist, DJ, decorator, bartender, and photographer — or use our vendor directory for trusted Columbus professionals we've worked with.
Outside alcohol is permitted for private events per your rental agreement.

Pricing FAQs
Does setup and breakdown time count against my rental?
Yes — all setup, event time, and cleanup must happen within your booked window. We recommend planning at least 30–60 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for cleanup. If you need extra time, additional hours can be added at $175/hour.
How do I get my $200 retainer back?
The $200 retainer is fully refunded after your event as long as the venue is left in the same condition it was in when you arrived — cleaned, all décor removed, and within your scheduled time window.
Can I tour the space before booking?
Absolutely. Free 15-minute in-person tours are available by appointment. Book directly at bookblancoeventcenter.com/tour. We also have an interactive 3D virtual tour available 24/7 on the site.
Is there a minimum for weekends?
Weekend bookings (Friday–Sunday) are available as half-day (8 hours, $1,000) or full-day (16 hours, $2,000) packages. There is no hourly weekend rate — the half-day package is the entry point.

How much are wedding packages in Columbus, Ohio?
At Blanco, a full Saturday wedding is $2,000 for 16 hours and a weekend half day is $1,000 for 8 hours — venue only, with no per-person charge and no food and beverage minimum.
Weekday events are $175/hour with a 3-hour minimum ($525). Sunday full day is $1,300. A refundable $200 retainer holds the date.
Full-service Columbus wedding venues that bundle catering typically start around $85–$150 per guest, which is why a 50-guest wedding often lands cheaper here even after you hire your own caterer.
What is included in Blanco's wedding package?
Every rental includes the entire 1,600 sq ft private all-white room, crystal chandelier lighting, tables and chairs for up to 60 seated guests, a private changing room, free on-site parking, and your setup and breakdown time inside the booked hours.
Not included: catering, bar service, decor, florals, linens, DJ and photography — you bring your own, with no vendor restrictions and no outside-vendor fees.
Capacity is 60 seated or 100 standing. Blanco does not host 200+ guest receptions.
Does Blanco have a food and beverage minimum?
No. There is no food minimum, no bar minimum, and no in-house catering requirement — you may bring your own caterer and your own alcohol.
This is the single biggest cost difference versus a hotel ballroom or country club, where the minimum often exceeds the entire cost of renting Blanco.
Families regularly cater their own showers, repasts and birthdays with homemade food, which is fully allowed.
