Search proposal venues in Columbus Ohio and almost everything you find is outdoors: a park, a rooftop, a bridge at sunset. Those work beautifully for about four months of the year. Blanco Event Center is a private indoor marriage proposal venue in Columbus built for that reality, and your date does not depend on the forecast.

All-Inclusive, Not a Room Rental

These packages are designed and installed by The Opulux Experience, a Columbus proposal and event design studio. You are not renting an empty room and then finding a florist. The rose arch, the candles, the petal floor, the uplighting and the audio are all part of the package, along with setup and teardown. Packages run $950, $1,600 and $2,500, and a photographer can be added to any of them for $350.

The Reveal Room and the Room Behind It

Blanco has two connected rooms, which is what makes the surprise work. The white room with the crystal chandeliers is where the question happens. The black room next to it is where family and friends wait, and where champagne and food are set. On the two larger packages the proposal flows straight into a celebration without anyone getting in a car. Located at 993 Mediterranean Ave, Columbus, OH 43229, with free on-site parking.
