Blanco Event Center ("Blanco", "we", "us") operates this website to help people learn about and book our event venue in Columbus, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information you give us

When you submit an inquiry, request a tour, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, event date, event type, guest count, and any details you choose to share about your event. Our inquiry form and tour scheduler are provided by HoneyBook, our client management platform, and the information you enter there is stored in our HoneyBook account. We use it to answer you, check availability, send a proposal, and manage your booking.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we record basic technical and usage information: pages viewed, the site or ad you arrived from, approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and browser details. We also store a randomly generated visitor identifier in your browser so repeat visits can be counted as one person rather than several.

We use the following third-party tools:

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic and page-performance reporting.
• Meta Pixel and Conversions API — measuring which of our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to inquiries, and showing our ads to people likely to be interested.
• Google Ads — measuring which search ads lead to inquiries.

Where an advertising platform receives information about an inquiry, we send only what is needed to match the event to your click — for example a hashed email address rather than a readable one.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade our inquiry list. We do not send you marketing email unless you asked us about an event or opted in.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the venue — our client management and scheduling platform, our email and calendar provider, our payment processor, and the analytics and advertising platforms named above — and only as far as needed to do their job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and booking records are kept for as long as we have a business reason to keep them, including tax and record-keeping obligations. Website usage records are kept in aggregate form for reporting.

Cookies and your choices

The tools above use cookies and similar browser storage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the site, including the inquiry form, from working properly. Most browsers also send a Do Not Track signal; because there is still no agreed standard for how sites should respond, we do not act on it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@blancoeventcenter.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you have an active booking or an outstanding balance, we may need to keep records connected to it.

Children

This site is intended for adults booking events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
